Hi Gabrielle. I received a great answer from Xero and have been able to set up the casual loading on payslips. To record casual loading on the payslips, we suggest creating a new earnings rate for this and then including this in the employee's payslips. I understand there is legal precedence for a claim being made that an employees pay rate did not include casual loading when in fact it did and the payslip called the rate a 'casual rate' but the actual casual loading should be made separately and itemised as its own line item.
